Two Sides of Wilby Umbraby ~WilbyUmbra

Things that we might not regret immediately...
... but may end up haunting us for the rest of our lives.}

This picture took me quite a long time to do. It was sketched in OpenCanvas, and the vectors were created using Paint Shop Pro 8. Here are the various stages during the sketching phase and various references.

I had a few paragraphs explaining the story behind this picture and my choice of words. I based this picture on something about myself that I hated, but it was a little bit much exposing myself like that, so I took the paragraphs back down.

To credit the things that don't belong to me or were not made by me:

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is property of Hasbro. (Clearly...)

A.C.M.E. Secret Agent Italic was the typeface used for the 'regular' text. I'm not sure who created it, but if you do, please let me know.

Face Your Fears was used for the 'scary' text, and was created by David Kerkhoff. This epic novelty typeface is free for personal use with optional donation, but payment is required if you wish to use it commercially.

The texture used for the right-hand side is known as 'Scratched 9' and was created by Caleb Kimbrough from Lost and Taken (outgoing link) or their deviantART account, lostandtaken and is free for personal or commercial use.

The Two Sides concept / format was by TehJadeh, who in turn was inspired by Blue-Ten and their series of 'two sides' images featuring characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

To be honest, I think a lot of that is from using the right typefaces. Without them, the resemblance fades a bit.
